Saddleworth Parish Council Meeting – PS Andy Holian. |

Dear Residents.
On Monday evening, I was invited to attend the Saddleworth Parish Council meeting. It was a privilege to be welcomed by the council and have the opportunity to speak about the work your local Neighbourhood Policing Team is carrying out to keep our communities safe.
During the meeting, I provided an update on the action we are taking to address the issues most commonly raised by residents, namely crime, anti social behaviour (ASB), and speeding vehicles. Through regular enforcement operations, targeted patrols, and proactive problem-solving, we remain committed to tackling these concerns and improving the quality of life for those who live and work in Saddleworth.
I was pleased to report that recorded crime across the Saddleworth area has reduced significantly, falling from 143 crimes recorded in August to 103 crimes recorded in September. Whilst any crime is one too many, this reduction demonstrates the positive impact of partnership working, community engagement, and the dedicated efforts of local officers.
My team and I will continue to provide high-visibility patrols across Saddleworth and Lees, proactively responding to reports of crime and anti-social behaviour, identifying those responsible, and taking positive action to prevent further incidents.
I would like to extend a special thank you to everyone at Saddleworth Parish Council for making me feel so welcome. As the Neighbourhood Sergeant responsible for serving your communities and constituents, I greatly value the opportunity to engage with the council and work together to address local concerns.
If you have concerns in your area, please continue to report them to us. Your information helps us target our patrols and resources where they are needed most.
Regards
PS 1650 Andy Holian Saddleworth & Lees NBO Sergeant
